Our Phases of Development

THE CAPULANA BAY ECO-VILLAGE & TRIBE will experience three principle stages
during the course of its development.
STAGE ONE – THE PIONEER CLAN
Ideally and to begin with, those eager to participate in the establishing of
THE CAPULANA BAY ECO-VILLAGE & TRIBE PROJECT
are adventurous and resourceful.
The idea of working creatively with others during the formative stages
of a life-changing project resonates with them at a visceral level
and they’ve probably been looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to do it for some time!
They are determined, patient, and assertive.
They have some well-honed skills and/or are
accustomed to working hard within a team.
They have the emotional resilience to work through
the difficulties associated with pioneer life.
They have a certain strength of character to work in sometimes difficult conditions.
They will probably find work at CAPULANA BAY in due course, but to begin with,
they have an independent source of income to support themselves.
Since the pioneers usually arrive before anything has been built,
those tribe members forming the pioneering crew for THE CAPULANA BAY ECO-VILLAGE
provide their own temporary accommodation; in well-appointed tented camps ideally,
since it will be a while before the construction of formal dwellings is completed.
Members of The Pioneer Clan are eligible for leases at a very reduced rate
in recognition of the important role they will have fulfilled in the establishment
of THE CAPULANA BAY ECO-VILLAGE.

STAGE TWO – THE EARLY SETTLER CLAN
Those who come to live in the ready built accommodation
are identified as Members of The Early Settler Clan.
At this next stage, small but adequate housing will be available.
Early Settlers are happy to make these dwellings their homes,
knowing that they are able to expand if necessary, in the years to come.
Early Settlers are expected to be able to offer additional,
much-needed skills to the settlement.
You don’t need the planned economic development to be at its advanced stage
to enable you to become an active member of the village.
Early settlers are also offered a discount rate
on lease purchases and rent-to-buy options.

STAGE THREE – THE LATE SETTLER CLAN
At this point, most of our Eco-Village development has been put in place, and there are likely to be many work opportunities.
The Late Settler Clan are those ready to settle down into a good life,
eager to support the work of those who have built the foundations
by settling their families at THE CAPULANA BAY ECO-VILLAGE
and fitting into the Tribe with a reasonably easy transition.
The increase in price at this stage will reflect the added value
the pioneers and early settlers have built.
