The Tribal Management Process

 

The CAPULANA BAY Eco-Village Cooperative holds 1000 shares that are distributed

between its Shore-Dweller and Wave-Dweller Clan Members. 

 

The CAPULANA BAY Tribal Land Trust owns all the land.  

 

Individual shareholders lease the right to build on the land. 

 

Rentals, communal infrastructure, and permaculture systems are collectively owned by

The CAPULANA BAY Eco-Village Cooperative, and managed by

The CAPULANA BAY Eco-Village Tribe. 

 

Shore-Dweller and Wave-Dweller Clan Members comprise

The CAPULANA BAY Eco-Village Council known as:

 

“The Keepers of the Conch”

 

While Driftwood Clan Members are included in the consensus process regarding decisions

that effect daily life within The CAPULANA BAY Eco-Village & Tribe,

they do not vote in the consensus decision making when it comes to

logistics for major property choices, such as budgeting, new system implementation,

new member admission, profit-sharing, business decisions, revisions to documents, and so forth.

 

All shareholding members have the right to vote in a sociocratic governance system

based on consensus.All share holding members receive discounts, trade opportunities,

or job positions for events produced by The CAPULANA BAY Eco-Village & Tribe,

and have the right to benefit from income sharing from community owned businesses.

 

All members pay an annual maintenance fee, either in money or equal value trade,
